Meet our Teachers

Christie Fitts is an educator with over 15 years of experience in the field. She is currently the Head of School and Lead Guide at the School of Montessori in Nederland. She is actively pursuing her AMI certification which will enhance her ability to teach children. When she is not teaching, Christie loves spending time with her children, grandson, and rescue pup. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping and loves to explore new places. She also has a passion for art, music, and literature and enjoys painting, playing the piano, and reading. Christie's enthusiasm for teaching and working with children is evident in her work and dedication to her students. She is committed to providing a high-quality, safe, and supportive learning environment for her students and is constantly looking for ways to improve and develop her teaching methods. She is a dedicated and passionate educator who loves to see her students achieve their highest potential.
